  范文:279words。

Many adults have money problems due to their poor financial literacy. I completely agree with the idea that children who are given weekly pocket money are less likely to face financial difficulties in the future.

Children will learn the importance of money if they have the opportunities to deal with it from young. Once youngsters find that they need to pay for everything they need or like, such as toys, snacks, and books, they will be clear about the fact that people cannot live without money. Meanwhile, young consumers would start to think about the source of money as they become familiar with the prices of various products and services.Such awareness will motivate them to work hard towards the goal of being financially independent with a stable income after growing up, instead of relying on using credit card  for daily expenses which would lead to too many debts.

A regular allowance can also develop children's skills of managing budgets. They will gain a better understanding of the necessity to save up when they want to purchase expensive gifts for their parents or friends.Similarly, youngsters can learn to make spending plan from arranging pocket money. For instance, if a student fails to averagely allocate his lunch costs to each day and runs out of budget earlier than scheduled, he would have to request an advance from parents or borrow from classmates. Both sufficient deposit and the ability to reasonably arrange spending can prevent adults from suffering financial difficulties and leading a well-off life.

In conclusion, I totally agree that offering children weekly allowance is helpful for them to develop financial skills and reduce their risk of facing money problems in adulthood.
